He was born on January 10, 1950. His father was the composer and trumpeter Eduard Parma Sr. In 1974, he graduated from the State Conservatory in Prague, playing the clarinet.

Since the mid-seventies, his orchestra accompanied the singers Hana Buštíková and Jiří Korn. For the latter, he composed the successful songs Žal se odlaža or Ulice Váci.

At the beginning of the eighties, Parma moved to Great Britain, where he became involved in the music life there. He performed with the group Times Square at the legendary Marquee club in London. The band made a name for itself on the islands with the song Paradise.

In 1985, he founded the recording studio Soul Kitchen Production (SOKIT) in Britain, where Jimmy Ross, Adamski and others recorded, among others.

In 1991, he moved it to Prague. He and his brother Jindřich Parma then founded the company Parma Productions. He also recorded a number of orchestral compositions that were successful abroad, wrote music for films and stage music.
