Kupastuntas.co, Metro – From January to December 2021The Metro City Health Office (Dinkes) recorded as many as 131 cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) appeared in the local city.

Head of the Metro Health Office, drg. Erla Andrianti said that as of December 26, 2021, there were 131 positive cases of dengue fever.

“Each case is followed up with epidemiological examination and monitoring,” said Erla, when asked for a statement, Thursday (12/30/2021).

According to him, after a series of inspections and monitoring of mosquito larvae found in the residence of the DHF victim, his party immediately carried out fumigation or fogging.

“We have also tried to do prevention by the Puskesmas and operational working groups or Pokjanal in each sub-district to the kelurahan,” he explained.

As an anticipatory measure to stop the spread of dengue cases in Metro, his party has made a series of efforts, ranging from socialization to mutual cooperation in cleaning the environment.

“The team from the health department also carried out socialization by means of mosquito nest eradication or PSN using mobile health cars. We also carried out mutual cooperation with PSN,” he said.

Not only that, the Health Office also distributed free abatements to the community as an effort to prevent the breeding of dengue fever mosquitoes.

“We also distribute Abate through health cadres for free, and ask people who are infected with DHF not to be late for treatment. The Health Office has also alerted Puskesmas, cliques and hospitals,” he said.
