BOLASPORT.COM – Indonesia sent two representatives to the final round of the tournament Thailand Open I 2021 held January 12-17.
Defeat Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (Men’s Singles) from Viktor Axelsen (Denmark) ensures that Indonesia has Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti (double mix) and Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu (women’s doubles) at the top of the party.
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting lost after going through a tight duel against Axelsen in a 63 minute match at the Impact Arena, Bangkok, Saturday (16/1/2021).

Through this defeat, Axelsen improved his record of meetings with Anthony to 3-4, still for Anthony’s advantage.
Praveen / Melati became the first representatives of Indonesia to step into the final round. Praveen / Melati managed to revive hom Gicquel / Delphine Delrue (France) after 46 minutes of struggle.
At the start of the first game, the two pairs of players take turns scoring points.
Through cross blows, Melati further strengthened Indonesia’s superiority with a score of 18-14.
Praveen / Melati’s lead continued until he closed the first game with a win after Gicquel’s smash went wide.
