A woman ended up helpless on the street. Thanks to three guys from Varna, she was brought to her house. This has emerged clearly from a post that is gaining popularity on social networks and which already has dozens of comments, has seen Varna24.bg.
Before that, an ambulance was called to the scene. Doctors examined her, but left her on the street. An eyewitness said the woman was dragging herself to the ground. She expressed her gratitude to the young people who responded and criticized the actions of the emergency services.
This caused a flood of comments on the web. Some of the people supported the man’s position, while others were of the opposite opinion. We now publish the full story and unedited comments:
“Tribute to the three boys and the girl who this evening in via “Zograf” rescued an elderly woman in a state of poverty. The woman was seen by an arriving ambulance and then left to literally drag herself to the ground. Her boys bought her food and forced her to pick her up and take her to them, at the same time buying her food for several days.
I am speechless with the EMS team, they checked the woman, left her lying on the sidewalk and left”, wrote the author of the post.
“It is more expedient to call the regional office and send a car. Do you think it’s okay to leave her helpless, in the dark, alone and lying on the sidewalk unable to get up?“, he adds.
And he also says: “That, well, animals are helped more than people.“
“Ambulance boys are heartless jerks. And there is not only one ambulance in all of Varna. How are they not ashamed to leave her lying on the street and take her to her house? So why did they beat them, apparently there is a reason!”, commented another.
“Is the ambulance a social tax? Do you know exactly what happened? And believe me, if you knew how many ambulances serve Varna for a 12 hour service, you would hardly talk like that”, they also write.
“Dear citizens of Varna, I am convinced that you are very compassionate, but there is another side to what happened. There is another kind of people: those who take advantage of our sympathy behind our backs. Those who think that society owes them.
I will give examples in which I have witnessed and participated. The so-called “subscribers” – do not go to the general practitioner, do not collect the user fee, talk to someone /even in the middle of the night/, seek mercy… There is no reason to call the Emergency Service, but he who loves. Twenty-five kilometers took us to a village, where a woman, deeply complaining, called us because she was shopping, but her bag was very heavy, so we were able to carry it home.
A boy from Maksuda feigned a seizure at Levski Market, holding a paper with his address on it. He was just looking for transportation around his neighborhood. But unfortunately he had come across a doctor who knew him as a “subscriber”. Well, if you saw the ambulance drop this writhing epileptic on the ground, what would you think? Well, since they left this woman in place of her, there was no reason to rush her to the ER“said one woman.
