TRIBUNKALTIM.CO – Solo Mayor Cup 2021 is confirmed to continue and be completed before the 2021 Liga 1 starts.
The Solo Mayor’s Cup 2021 itself was postponed due to the soaring number of Covid-19 cases in Central Java Province (Central Java).
In fact, a number of participating clubs Solo Mayor Cup was undecided whether to continue participating or not.
Apart from the case Covid-19, the implementation of the warm-up tournament is also close to the date of the 2021 Liga 1 season.
However, so far only Dewa United has withdrawn from the 2021 Solo Mayor’s Cup.
Dewa United’s position was immediately replaced Sriwijaya FC.
This means that the tournament that was promoted by the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, will still be followed by eight teams.

To be known, Solo Mayor Cup originally planned to be held on June 20, 2021.
Solo Mayor Cup participants are representatives from Liga 1 Persib Bandung, Arema FC, Bhayangkara FC, and Bali United.
