Complete List of Those Who Can & Cannot Be Covid Vaccinated

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) finally explained about community groups that could be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine or postpone its implementation.

The following is a list of those who can be vaccinated against Covid-19, postponed or banned according to the Ministry of Health, as quoted by CNBC Indonesia, Monday (15/2/2021):

The first requirement when vaccinated is that the body’s age must be below 37.5 degrees Celsius. If the body temperature is above that then it must be postponed until it recovers.

The second requirement is blood pressure. If it is above 180/110 mmHg, the blood pressure measurement is repeated 5-10 minutes later. If it is still high, then postpone vaccination until it is controlled.

Another rule, if you have had close contact with a Covid-19 positive patient in the last 14 days and have symptoms of fever, cough, runny nose or shortness of breath within seven days, vaccination is postponed until 14 days after symptoms appear.

If you have been confirmed to have Covid-19, you can get a vaccination after three months of recovery.

Mothers who are pregnant will not be injected with the vaccine, but mothers who are breastfeeding can be vaccinated against Covid-19.

If you have a history of severe allergies such as shortness of breath, swelling and severe reactions due to vaccines, then the Covid-19 vaccine injection is carried out at the hospital. If after the Covid-19 vaccination a severe allergy appears, then the second injection is not given.

The Covid-19 vaccine cannot be injected into people who have acute or uncontrolled chronic diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma, heart disease, kidney problems, and liver or liver disease.

Those who are on TB treatment for more than two weeks can be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine. But for those who are running cancer, vaccines should not be injected.

The Covid-19 vaccine can be given to those who suffer from systemic autoimmune diseases, diabetes mellitus who take regular medication, people with HIV disease and have a history of epilepsy if under control.

The Ministry of Health will delay the injection of the vaccine for one month if less than a month before the injection of the vaccine residents get another vaccination.
