KONTAN.CO.ID – Currently, in Indonesia there are still children who have not received complete immunization and have never even received immunization from birth.
This makes them susceptible to contracting dangerous diseases because there is no immunity against them.
The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) changed the concept of complete basic immunization to complete routine immunization. The complete routine immunization consists of basic and advanced immunizations.
Basic immunization alone is not sufficient, further immunizations are needed to maintain optimal levels of immunity.
So, when is a child said to have received complete immunization?
