The Ministry of Culture of the Nation called for the program of competitive funds and training in specific knowledge, aimed at book fairs, non-profit, municipal, provincial, non-governmental organizations and / or self-managed groups throughout Argentina.
Registration is open until next Friday, June 25, inclusive and the call has the objectives of helping to strengthen book fairs as spaces for democratization, promotion of reading and stimulation of the economy of the sector; promote the confluence between readers and writers and writers, favoring the creation of new audiences; and promote cultural decentralization from a federal perspective.
Book fairs that take place between August and December of this year may participate, whether governmental –organized by provincial or municipal entities– or non-governmental –organized by legal entities (civil associations, foundations, cooperatives, among others) that assume this role. within the framework of its corporate purpose– and / or by self-managed groups throughout the country.
The fairs planned to be held in person or in person must have a current health protocol approved by the competent provincial and / or national authorities as appropriate.

Credit lines

This support for book fairs in the country has several competitive lines: the Guest Line, with a maximum amount of 150 thousand pesos; the Virtual Line, which has a maximum amount of 100,000 pesos; the COVID-19 Line / Hygiene Protocol, with an amount that cannot exceed 80 thousand pesos; the Imagen Line, with a maximum amount of 100,000 pesos; the Pabellones Line, no more than 200 thousand pesos and the Management Line, with a maximum amount of aid of 100 thousand pesos.
