It is already the 2nd time that this match of the 4th match day has to be postponed. Initially, the game was scheduled for Sunday, September 20, but the Kempen club then submitted a request for postponement, after more than 7 players from the first team had tested positive for the corona virus.
Last weekend’s game against Club Brugge’s promise team also had to be postponed for the same reason.
The A-group of Westerlo has been in quarantine since last Wednesday and at least until Tuesday, after a corona infection was found in 12 people.
A new date is being sought for the game against Deinze on Friday. Next Saturday Westerlo will in principle receive RWDM, on match day 6 of the 1B Pro League.
