Clément Noël put everyone at his feet last year to win the Kandahar World Cup slalom on the Verte des Houches in the Chamonix valley. A success achieved a few kilometers from the racing workshop of Dynastar, the Mont-Blanc brand that has been equipping the little prince with tight turns in skis and Lange boots from an early age. And last Tuesday evening, the adopted Vosgien Savoyard signed his return to the foreground (2nd) on the Planai in Schladming, swept by snowflakes, his second podium of the season before the Chamonix stage on the Verte des Houches.
Lange has been since 1948 (year of the first edition of the Kandahar in Chamonix) and the date of its creation a reference in the so important universe of shoes and competition by equipping ski legends: the American Nancy Greene, first woman to win the big crystal globe of the World Cup in 1967, Gustavo Thoeni, the Italian flying technician, Olympic giant and silver champion in slalom at the Sapporo Games, Austro-Luxembourger Marc Girardelli, winner of the first of his 5 overalls overall, and again the Italian Fedrica Brignone, winner of the overall in 2020… without forgetting Clément Noël.
And on the occasion of Kandahar which rhymes with Dynastar, with Lange and Ski Chrono, it’s Christmas again in January!
