The Competition and Market Guarantor Authority, following a report sent to it by the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiulianohas initiated investigative proceedings against the Undersecretary of State for Culture, Vittorio Sgarbi, for possible illicit conduct in violation of the provisions of the law regarding activities incompatible with holding a government office. The Antitrust announced this in a note.
“I am very happy with the start of the Antitrust investigation” which will clarify that “my activities are a legitimate exercise of copyright”, commented undersecretary Vittorio Sgarbi on the opening of an investigation by the Competition Guarantor . And he announces: “My counterattack will start as soon as the postal police have identified the person who sent the anonymous letter” to the press.
