This video compares the eight planets of our solar system, two dwarf planets (Pluto and Ceres), and the Sun and Moon. The video begins with a comparison of the Earth’s satellite “Moon” and the dwarf planets “Pluto” and “Ceres”. Pluto (2370 km in diameter) was classified as a planet until 2006, but you can see at a glance that its size is smaller than the Moon (3470 km in diameter).
