The author of the Gameinvader channel compared two pirate-themed games from Ubisoft: Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and Skull & Bones. He shared the result in a video on YouTube.
The enthusiast compared not only graphical but also gameplay elements. For example, in the video you can see how going beyond the map, hunting sea creatures, fighting, boarding, swimming, and the behavior of water and sand works in games.
Skull & Bones was released on February 16th. Initially, the game was supposed to be a multiplayer expansion for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, but later turned into an independent title with MMO elements. The title was in development for more than six years, and production was restarted several times. The basic edition of the action game can be purchased for $70 – the publisher is positioning the title as an AAAA project with a large budget. The new product also received a free trial period of eight hours. Despite this, critics greeted the action lukewarmly.
