Honda CBR1000RR SP the 11th generation became a concern after being hit by Daihatsu Ayla. In terms of performance, how does this bike compare to the Honda RC213V ridden by Marc Marquez in the MotoGP event?
The difference between the motorbike lies in the engine part. Although both carry the 1,000 cc engine, they both have different configurations.
Honda CBR1000RR SP The 11th generation carries a Liquid-Cooled, 4-Stroke, 16-Valve, DOHC Inline 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 999.8 cc. This machine adopts the PGM-DSFI (Programmed Dual Stage Fuel Injection) fuel system. On paper, this motorbike is capable of spewing 178 horsepower (dk) at 12,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 114 Nm at 10,500 rpm.

Performance can be increased when using a racing part consisting of exhaust, ECM, quick shifter, air duct, and many other racing parts. With the addition of these racing components, the RC213V-S’s power can reach 220 hp, while the Marc Marquez motorbike in MotoGP is capable of spraying more than 240 horsepower.

If its performance is compared to the Daihatsu Ayla, it is certainly very unequal, the Honda CBR1000RR SP still wins on paper. Ayla belongs to the car category Low Cost Green Car (LCGC), despite being equipped with a 1,000 cc 3-cylinder Ayla engine, it only produces 64 hp at 6,000 rpm and 86 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm. Even with 1,200 cc of maximum power of 86.7 hp.

In dimensions, Honda CBR1000RR SP has a size that is slimmer than the RC213V, but weighs heavier. If the CBR1000RR SP weighs 195 kg, while the RC213V-S (racing specs) is the same as Marc Marquez’s ride, which is 160 kg.
