Comparison of Domestic Banks’ Savings Accounts and Interest Rates in January 2024

We have put together an overview of domestic banks and their savings accounts.

In January, Air Bank started raising interest rates for deposits above 250,000 crowns in a savings account. As part of its marketing campaign, it entices clients to an interest rate of up to six percent without limiting the maximum amount of the deposit, the website writes Penize.cz.

Clients who have paid at least five times with an Air Bank card in the previous month will have the money in the savings account earn interest at a bonus rate.

The basic bonus for deposits up to 250 thousand crowns is five percent. Newly, the part that exceeds this limit will even attract interest of six percent. Thus, with a higher deposit, the total interest increases, which represents a change compared to before, when the bank had strict limits.

In order to achieve a higher interest rate of more than a quarter of a million crowns on the Air Bank savings account, clients must meet an additional condition: timely activation of this benefit using a button in the e-mail. If you did not receive the e-mail, you should write to the bank.
