Connection China and United States of America heated up after the visit of the Chairman of the US House of Representatives (DPR), Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan last week.
China was furious about the visit. In fact, from a long time ago they warned the US to cancel the visit.
However, Pelosi still carried out her plan on August 2. On the same day, China immediately ordered its troops and all military equipment to approach Taiwan instead of holding free exercises on August 4-7.

Looking at the defense strength of the two countries, Global Fire Power As of August 2022, the US rankings still occupy the top position. Meanwhile, China is in third place.
In terms of the defense budget, the US is also superior with US$770 billion or around Rp11,439 trillion, while China is only US$230 billion or around Rp3,418 trillion.
The US has a total of 1.8 million personnel in the military. For active troops there are 1.39 million personnel, and for reserve troops there are 442,000 personnel.
The US Air Force has a total of 13,247 aircraft. In more detail, 2,661 trainer aircraft, 910 attack helicopters, 1,957 fighter aircraft, 774 special mission aircraft, 783 special attack aircraft, 982 transport aircraft, 627 tankers, and 5,463 helicopters.
Meanwhile, the US Army has 6,612 tanks, 1,366 tolet projectors, 45,193 armored vehicles, 1,498 self-propelled artillery units, and 1,339 towing artillery units.
From the US Navy, they have a total of 484 assets. In addition, they also have nine helicopter carriers, 92 destroyers, 10 patrol boats, 68 submarines, 22 corvettes, and 11 aircraft carriers.
China has a different number of military personnel and equipment from the US.
In terms of the total number of personnel, China has 3.1 million personnel. Of this number, as many as 2 million are active personnel, and 510 thousand are reserve personnel.
From the Air Force sector, China has a total of 3,285 aircraft. In more detail, 399 training aircraft, 281 attack aircraft, 1,200 fighter aircraft, 114 special mission aircraft, 371 special attack aircraft, 3 tankers, 286 transport aircraft, and 912 helicopters.
In the Army, China has 5,250 tanks, 3,160 projector rockets, 35,000 armored vehicles, 4,120 self-propelled artillery, and 1,734 towing artillery units.
Meanwhile in the Navy, Beijing has total assets of up to 777. They also have 49 frigates, 36 mine ships, 2 aircraft carriers, 70 corvettes, 41 destroyers, 152 patrol boats, and 2 aircraft carriers.
