Al-Marsad Newspaper: A citizen documented the price of buying a car from abroad, including delivery and tax, and the price difference between it and the cars of the local market.
In a video clip, the citizen reviewed the price of the Mercedes “I-Class”, model 2022, blue in color, which had a price of 46,890 euros with tax in Germany.
He added that if the car is imported from Germany, the tax will not be paid, and thus the price of the car will be 39 thousand euros, equivalent to 162 thousand riyals.
He pointed out that the car tax will be 24 thousand riyals, customs 8133 riyals, and freight 10 thousand riyals, so that the total price of the car is 205 thousand riyals.
The citizen offered the price of the car of the same category in one of the exhibitions in the local market, and the first price was 345 thousand riyals, and in another exhibition the price reached 260 thousand riyals.
