Schönberg (kb) – Thanks to Darja Varfolomeev’s magnificent performance at the 2024 Olympics and her gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics for Germany, this sport is becoming increasingly popular. In it, the exercises, accompanied by instrumental music or singing, are performed both without hand equipment and with rope, hoop, ball, clubs or ribbon.
On November 30th, a comparative competition of Turngau Feldberg will take place in the Taunushalle in Schönberg from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The competitions are held in synchronized gymnastics and the P group. The approximately 40 participants are between 5 and 14 years old.
On the day of the competition, exercises are performed with and without hand equipment to music – optionally with a band, clubs, hoop and rope.
So if you’ve always wanted to experience the magic of rhythmic gymnastics up close, you’ll have the opportunity to do so on Saturday, November 30th. The physical well-being of the spectators is taken care of. Coffee, cake and waffles are available.
TSG Schönberg now offers rhythmic gymnastics in the Taunushalle every Monday from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Anyone aged 5 to 99 is warmly invited to take part.
