KOMPAS.com – Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi Note 11 series trio to the Indonesian market through a launch event held Tuesday (15/3/2022). The Redmi Note 11 series is the successor of the Redmi Note 10 series which was released last year.

Unlike the global launch, Xiaomi released three phone models consisting of the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Proand Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

Among the three, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G appear with specification which is higher, when compared to the “regular” Redmi Note 11.

In general, Redmi Note 11 Pro specifications and the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G are pretty much the same. Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G are both equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD Plus (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with refresh rate 120 Hz day touch sampling rate 360 Hz.

Xiaomi also provides the screen with visual aspect support features that include a light brightness level of up to 1,200 nits and a DCI-P3 gamut color spectrum.

To protect the screen from collisions, Xiaomi also uses Gorilla Glass 5 as a screen security system for both phones.

From the power aspect, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G are both equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

The battery supports the 67 Watt Turbo Charging feature, which is claimed to be able to charge both phones in just 61 minutes, from empty to full.

Although they appear to have similar specifications, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G have a number of differences that can be found in various aspects. As in hardware, connectivity, camera, memory, and of course price.

The most striking difference is seen in terms of mobile phone connectivity. As the name implies, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G supports 5G internet networks, in contrast to the ‘regular’ Redmi Note 11 Pro which comes as a 4G LTE model.

The difference in terms of connectivity is influenced by the embedded chipset. The Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is “powered” by one of the chips made by Qualcomm that already supports 5G connections, namely Snapdragon 695.

The RAM and storage capacities offered on the two phones are also different for the Indonesian market. Redmi Note 11 Pro comes with more varied RAM and internal memory options, namely 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB.
