The detective series “Dog” was released in 2015 and instantly captivated viewers. For six seasons, the directors told the story of the brave investigator Maxim Maximov, his faithful partner, the shepherd Dog, and other heroes. And, as netizens are sure, the creators of the show were inspired by one of the Soviet TV series.
According to the public, in the detective story one can catch elements of another series – “The Investigation is Conducted by Experts.” The record-breaking show in the USSR is noticeably reminiscent of “Dog,” but the plot and the characters themselves have undergone some changes.

In their opinion, in the main characters one can guess the images of Soviet investigators. And the series themselves are related to the relationships between the characters, criminal mysteries and humor, which cannot be found in other domestic detective stories.
