Comparing Pneumatic Fertilizer Spreaders: Horsch Leeb Xeric 14FS vs. Rauch Aero GT 60.1 and Other Competitors

With its pneumatic fertilizer spreader, Horsch is not the only supplier, but there are not many competitors. Above all, the fertilizer spreader manufacturer Rauch is known for its Aero GT 60.1. The difference to the Horsch Leeb Xeric 14FS is the size. While the Rauch Aero is built with one axle and has a maximum total weight of 12 t, the Horsch Xeric comes with a tandem axle and probably a permissible total weight of 14 t. At least that is what the model designation Horsch Leeb Xeric 14FS indicates. In addition to towed pneumatic spreaders from Rauch, there are also mounted models. Mounted pneumatic fertilizer spreaders were also previously built by Amazone, trailed ones by Kongskilde. Currently, the Amazone company only offers centrifugal or twin-disc spreaders.
