A military analyst compared the losses of Ukraine and Russia.
The main achievement of Ukraine in the war with Russia is the ratio of losses. Even though Ukraine was on the offensive and Russia was on the defensive, the occupiers’ losses were approximately two to three times greater.
This opinion is exclusive interview with TSN.ua expressed by political and military analyst, ATO veteran, ex-company commander in the Aidar battalion, Evgeniy Dikiy.
“It’s me by people I mean. For certain types of equipment, it happens as much as five times. All this time we are fighting with fewer people compared to them. And this is not because in general the population of Russia is larger than Ukraine. There is this constant twitching that Russia is bigger. Excuse me, it is not the square that is at war, it is not empty Siberia that is at war – it is the people who are at war. So, in terms of population, Russia is only about three to four times larger than Ukraine. Despite the fact that our goal is not to occupy Moscow and reach the Urals. Our task is only to remove the enemy from our territory,” says the military analyst.
According to Evgeniy Diky, this ratio is not decisive.
“The determining factor is how many people each country sends to the front. AND here the question is exclusively for us. Why have we been sending fewer people to the front all this time than them?” says Evgeniy Dikiy.
