defender Inter Milan Alessandro Bastoni have a different experience facing Liverpool. He compared it against Cristiano Ronaldo or Karim Benzema.
Inter Milan will travel to Liverpool’s headquarters at Anfield, Wednesday (9/3/2022) early morning WIB, in the second leg of the last 16 Champions League. Nerazzurri need to win three goals to qualify, having lost 0-2 at the Giuseppe Meazza three weeks ago.
It will be a very difficult task because Liverpool are in a good moment. The ‘Reds’ haven’t lost since December last year, winning 13 of the last 15 matches and even drawing just two.
Inter defender Bastoni specifically highlighted Liverpool’s attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota. All three of them will be a threat for him and the team, so it takes the collective effort of all players.
The 22-year-old hinted that this is what makes Liverpool different, compared to facing teams with Cristiano Ronaldo, or Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior.

For the record, the trio of Salah-Mane-Jota have scored a total of 58 goals this season. Salah is currently Liverpool’s top scorer with 27 goals, followed by 17 goals from Mane and 14 goals from Jota.
