Hyundai not only revealed the exterior and interior appearance of the MPV Stargazer. On its official website, Hyundai has also listed the engine specifications carried by the MPV that challenged the Toyota Avanza to the Mitsubishi Xpander.
The Hyundai Stargazer is known to be carrying a 1.5 L MPI four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,497 cc. On paper, the engine is believed to be able to produce power equivalent to 115 PS at 6,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.7 kg-m at 4,500 rpm.

The engine looks the same as the one embedded in the Hyundai Creta. Stargazer is not alone, rivals are also known to carry machines with similar capacities.
Starting from the Toyota Avanza. The Low MPV, nicknamed the car of a million people, offers two engine options, one of which has a 1.5L capacity. The 1.5L Toyota Avanza engine comes through the 2NR-VE which is capable of spitting out power equivalent to 106 PS at 6,000 rpm and 12.4 kg-m of torque at 4,200 rpm.
In line with the Avanza, Veloz also carries a similar engine. The power produced is the same as the Avanza. Daihatsu Xenia too. Xenia is known to use the same engine as the Avanza and Veloz.
Switching to another low MPV that carries a 1.5L engine is the Mitsubishi Xpander. The Xpander carries a 1.5L MIVEC DOHC engine with a capacity of 1,499 cc. This machine makes the Xpander have 105 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 141 Nm at 4,000 rpm. A similar engine is also embedded in the kitchen runway Nissan Livina.
Wuling Confero S is the same way. Armed with a 4-cylinder inline engine with a capacity of 1,485 cc, the Confero S is capable of spewing out 98 HP at 5,800 rpm and 135 Nm of torque at 3,800-4,200 rpm.
Suzuki Ertiga is also equipped with a K15B DOHC engine with a capacity of 1,462 cc. The engine on this Ertiga has a power of 104.7 PS at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
Finally there is the Honda Mobilio. Honda Mobilio carries a 1.5L i-VTEC engine with a maximum power of 118 PS at 6,600 rpm and a torque of 14.8 kg-m at 4,600 rpm.
