Company Shares Owned by Sandiaga-Boy Thohir Amblas Severe Due to ….

Investor many relinquished ownership stock owned company Sandiaga Uno and Garibaldi Thohir (Boy Thohir), namely shares of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) in the first trading session, Wednesday, September 16, 2020. During the afternoon break, MDKA’s shares were down 4.94% at the level of IDR1,540 per share. MDKA’s share trading activities include 99.47 million shares, which were transacted 11,093 times. The accumulated value of daily transactions per afternoon reached IDR154.30 billion.

Just so you know, the correction in MDKA’s share price also occurred in yesterday’s trade with a correction of 2.99% to the level of Rp1,620 per share on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 afternoon. That day coincided with the management’s announcement of an information disclosure regarding an incident that occurred at one of MDKA’s mines.

Corporate Secretary MDKA, Adi Adriansyah Sjoekri, announced that there was an incident of land subsidence in the project mine Seven hills, Banyuwangi, East Java on September 12, 2020. The subsidence occurred after cracks were found on the surface heap leach pad at the mine site so that activities in that area are currently suspended.

“There were no casualties or injuries to workers who were at the location when the incident took place and there was also no environmental damage caused,” he concluded on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

Furthermore, he said MDKA did not experience any loss of gold over the incident. It’s just that, production activities and cash flow are likely to be affected along with the repair period of the incident which is still ongoing today.

“There is nothing to lose goldHowever, as long as the repair period is still underway, this event could potentially delay the production of cash flows from related mines that have been projected previously, “he said.
