Studio Relic continues to introduce units in real-time strategy Company of Heroes 3. The one-minute gameplay trailer shows German Africa Corps, desert warfare experts. These soldiers come from Germany and are supported by their Italian comrades.
The Deutsches Afrikakorps have three basic pillars: they are mobile, mechanized and elite. This is the most radical army in the game. It should suit players who like to play aggressively and keep pressure on the enemybenefiting greatly from the synergy between the roster of specialized infantry and armored vehicles.
“Instead of brute force, they rely on flexibility and the quick-strike-and-move tactics that underpin their doctrine,” the trailer says. “They are masters of mobility, who move over vast distances and deftly eliminate key targets using a wide variety of armored vehicles. You only need to blink and they will overwhelm you with their bold approach.”

Iconic units such as the Panzer 3, the Flak 88, the 8Rad armored car or the indomitable Tiger tank are just a small sample of the powerful armored units of this army. In keeping with this army’s basic principles of mobility and pressure, it will help pulling heavy weapons and riding tanks keep your squad-requiring weapons and infantry on the front lines and at the center of the action.
“The Deutsches Afrikakorps can also call in additional support from their battlegroups and ask for vehicles, artillery and infantrysuch as the Italian bersaglieri and guastatori units, which will help them consolidate their position on the battlefield,” the authors add.
Company of Heroes 3 will be released on 2/23/2023 p with Czech subtitles on PC. The game will later come to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
