If you have already taken the alpha test, you will automatically be admitted to the new test round. For everyone else, just register via the game’s website. After connecting to a Steam account, the multiplayer test will appear in your Steam library.

As the development team explains, the test lasts from 18:00 on Tuesday 30 November to 05:00 on Tuesday 7 December. Pre-download of the trial version is already available now.

During the test phase, players get to try themselves as either American or German forces. It will be possible to play against other players, or against computer-controlled opposition for those who prefer it.

Company of Heroes 3 was originally created unveiled this summer, and is scheduled to be released towards the end of 2022. The game will take place in Italy and North Africa during World War II, and will, according to Relic, offer a return to the series’ roots.

More Total War: Warhammer is also on the way.
The series’ third and final game comes in February »
