Company managed by Belforte clan seized

The Carabinieri of the station Caserta they seized a company based in Saint Mark the Evangelistmanaged in a secret manner by a repeat offender already convicted for external complicity in Belforte Camorra ClanThe military executed a precautionary seizure order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetereat the request of the Sammarinese Public Prosecutor’s Office, for the crime of complicity in fraudulent transfer of assets. The seizure concerned the entire business complex with headquarters in San Marco Evangelista, a few kilometers from Caserta, operating in the concrete sector and wholesale trade of building materials, with a total value of approximately 1.5 million euros.

At the same time, the Carabinieri notified a notice of conclusion of the preliminary investigations against 4 people and seized all the company shares of the business. The investigation was triggered following an initial check carried out in 2019 by the Carabinieri of the Noe of Caserta during which the lack of the required environmental authorizations by the company. Further investigations, carried out by the military of the Caserta station and coordinated by the Sammarinese Prosecutor’s Office, allowed to ascertain the constant presence, at the company, of the multiple offender who did not hold and could not have held any position within the company.

Through wiretaps, documentary investigations and testimonies of people informed of the facts, the Carabinieri found that the four recipients of the notice of conclusion of investigations, in collusion with each other, had fictitiously attributed the exclusive ownership of the company to two of them, concealing the presence, as hidden partners and de facto administrators, of the other two. One of these was found to have multiple criminal convictions and had already been definitively sentenced for mafia-type criminal association, as an external competitor of the Belforte Camorra clan. In particular, it was ascertained that the latter was the company’s dominuswho managed, from every perspective, all the activities of the business complex.
