However, 40.7% of our compatriots are ready to take out a loan this year, the percentage being comparable to that in Slovakia and Poland, while in the Czech Republic only 16.6% of people would resort to credit for gifts. The most often stated amount that Bulgarians would use as a loan for Christmas is between BGN 150 and BGN 380.
