Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Commercial entities supplying fuel oil (BBM) such as PT Pertamina (Persero), Shell Indonesia to BP – AKR are compact to reduce the price of their fuel products at service stations.
For example, Pertamina, which lowered its BBM product, namely Pertamax Turbo as of November 1, 2022, to Rp 14,300. per liter from the previous 14,940 Rp. per liter.
Meanwhile, Shell Indonesia also lowered fuel prices starting November 1, 2022. Meanwhile, Shell lowered prices for three fuel types, namely Shell Super, Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Nitro +.
Shell Super, which is equivalent to Pertamax of Pertamina, has decreased from the previous Rp. 14,150 per liter at Rp. 13,550 per liter. Thus, the Shell V-Power, which previously cost Rp 14,840 per liter, has dropped to Rp 14,120 per liter. Finally, Shell V Power Nitro fuel decreased from Rp. 15,230 per liter at Rp. 14,560 per liter.
Meanwhile, BP as of Friday, November 4, 2022 has officially lowered the price of BP 90 or RON 90 a fuel to Rp 13,460. per liter from the previous 14,050 Rp. per liter.
Pertamina’s official website states that Pertamina has adjusted the general fuel price in order to implement Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) ESDM No. 245.K / MG.01 / MEM.M / 2022 as an amendment to Kepmen n. 62 K / 12 / MEM / 2020 concerning basic price formulas in the calculation of retail prices for general fuel types, petrol and diesel distributed through service stations.
VP Business Relations Shell Indonesia, Susi Hutapea explained that her party has made price adjustments from time to time. Some of them are taking into account the various factors that exist.
“Such as the average of Platts Singapore (MOPS), market conditions and volatility, exchange rates, government taxes and customs, distribution costs and operating costs, business performance and ongoing promotional activities”, Susi told CNBC Indonesia, quoted by CNBC. 6/11/2022).
