Liverpool FC football players won the first trophy of the season. Thanks to a 3:1 triumph in Saturday’s FA Community Shield match over Manchester City, London’s Arsenal equaled the number of titles from this competition in the historical tables. Both have 16 trophies. Coach Jürgen Klopp’s men decided on their victory in the last quarter of the match.

At 1:1, the VAR system revealed the hand of Ruben Dias after Darwin Nunez’s header in the penalty area, and Mohamed Salah made no mistake from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute.
