KARAWANG – A number of residents of the Sadjati Garden City housing complex, Krajan 1 Hamlet, Bengle Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency carried out community service activities to clean up the environment, Sunday (8/10/2023).
Secretary of Block A Management of Sadjati Garden City Housing, Rusdi Sobari, stated that this community service activity is a routine that is conditionally carried out by residents.
“We, Block Managers and Residents, clean the environment, such as jujukut (grass. Ed.) and water or sewer channels. Remembering that it’s time to clean it up,” he said, Sunday (8/10/2023).
Rusdi added, especially this community service activity was carried out in an effort to follow up on strategic issues at Perum Sadjati Garden City, because in the neighboring block there were already people affected by Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).
“We received news that in the neighboring block there were two residents who had dengue fever, so we immediately took the initiative to clean up the environment,” he explained.
Still Rusdi added, with this community service activity, his party hopes to strengthen ties of friendship and solidarity between residents, considering that most of the residents are new residents of the housing complex.
“Apart from that, of course cleaning this time can minimize the presence of mosquito larvae. “At the same time preventing disease outbreaks from occurring amidst the influence of extreme weather, especially in Block A,” he concluded. (give)
