Clean – On Tuesday, December 5 2023, community service activities were carried out to clean irrigation canals at the intersection of 4 Pengasih red lights, starting at 08.00 WIB. This activity was initiated by Military Restor Command 072/Pamungkas Military District Command 0731 as a response to the potential risk of flood disasters and the spread of disease due to the growth of mosquitoes.
Cleaning irrigation canals is a proactive and preventive step to anticipate flooding in the area. Apart from that, another goal is to prevent the emergence of disease outbreaks that can be caused by mosquitoes. By involving trained personnel from the Military Restoration Command, it is hoped that the cleanliness of irrigation channels can be maintained properly. Kapanewon Pengasih and the Pengasih Village apparatus also synergized in this activity by sending their personnel.
This action not only aims to reduce the risk of flooding, but also to maintain the health of local communities. Involving various parties, this activity reflects the local government’s serious commitment to protecting the environment and improving the welfare of its citizens.
