Community red alert for forest fire in Los Angeles: Helicopters and planes fight it | National

A communal red alert was decreed in Los Angeles as a result of a forest fire that was cataloged as large, due to the risk it posed to nearby homes.

The claim is recorded in the Chacayal sector South and one of the areas that experienced the greatest risk was where the San José School is located.

Neighbors of the place they used hoses and connected motor pumps to their wells to be able to protect their homes.

The fire fighting continues at this time and according to information from Radio Bío Bío, 2.5 hectares of forest have been consumed so far.

Two helicopters, airplanes, four brigades and six fire trucks are working in this emergency.
