They have already started to participate,” specifies Mohamed Azri, secretary general of the association.

Ar Maure volunteers will also go directly on the stairs “There will be people at the Blosne market, the Villejean market and the Sainte-Thérèse market. We want people who cannot travel to be able to donate too,” explains the vice-president of the association, Mohamed Bousfiha.

Donations to remote villages

The main goal is to raise money to send it directly to the people on site, but also equipment. “Hygiene products, pharmaceutical products, blankets or even clothes”details Abdelouahid, volunteer at Ar Maure. “We also need to be able to transport them. We are working on this issue to bring the equipment on site and distribute it.”

Et the material will not be distributed in Marrakech. “It has affected remote regions which are destitute. There are entire villages which have been destroyed,” tell it president of the association, Saadia Anafal. It is located in Morocco, next to the capital Rabat. “Our aid will be concentrated on these people, in the province of Al Haouz south of Marrakech.
