The Mayor’s Office of Manizales, through the Ministry of Public Health, continues to work on the Mental Health Program and for this it has four Listening Centers, spaces that create environments that are more favorable to change, minimizing the risks and damages associated with employers. consumption of psychoactive substances, through the timely detection of risk behaviors, activation of care routes, promoting spaces for social inclusion as well as psychosocial support in mental health problems.
“We are currently making an offer to the entire community so that in any situation due to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, consumption of psychoactive substances, intra-family problems or any other situation framed within mental illness, it can be supported through line 123 option 3, which has 24-hour psychologists”said the Secretary of Municipal Health, Carlos Humberto Orozco Téllez, who also stressed that listening centers are available to serve the community free of charge, regardless of any type of affiliation or social security.
In the Community Listening Centers you will find an interdisciplinary team with professionals in Psychology, social development, social work and physical educator.
The Municipal Health portfolio calls on the community to attend the listening centers and request help if they present any of the following behaviors:
