In its most recent meeting, the Partenstein municipal council decided by a majority to join the association “Citizens and municipalities against the western bypass Würzburg (B26 n) eV”. The construction of the B26n with a feeder to Lohr shows more disadvantages than advantages for the Lohr valley, through which the B276 runs and represents a connection to the A66. In addition, a large part of the committee does not consider the strong interference with nature to be justified.
The Council unanimously decided to keep electricity prices in all tariffs. With regard to the official determination of the Lohr floodplain by the Main-Spessart District Office in cooperation with the Aschaffenburg Water Management Office, 48 objections were received. These were forwarded to the district office. According to the district office, a public hearing is to take place.
On January 29th, a lot of surface water came again from the Reichengrund. This was caused by heavy rain combined with melting snow. Most of the water comes from the Lohr state forest and city forest. By timely intervention by residents, the fire brigade and the building yard, worse could be avoided.

The railway site has not yet been surveyed. However, this is a prerequisite for further planning and application for P + R spaces and the bus turning loop with bus stop.
At the beginning of February, bricks fell from the Schantz building again. This was immediately communicated to the owner and the district office. Partenstein’s mayor is curious to see when something will happen here. There are always and still prospective buyers, but as long as the high land charge remains, a buy / sell is unlikely.
Through the federal forest premium, the municipality of Partenstein was promised a premium for the preservation and sustainable management of the forest of EUR 51,821. The mayor submitted the application in December 2020. The forest area for which the employer’s liability insurance association contributions are paid is eligible for the premium. The forest must be certified ?? this is the community forest through PEFC ??, and the forest owner must be a member of a forest association. It is not yet possible to say when the bonus will be paid out.
The funding applied for under the municipal investment program for schools in the amount of 195,500 euros for the renovation of the school sports hall has meanwhile been paid out.
The new decree of the cleaning and security ordinance was approved unanimously.
