“It is in a particularly complex, violent, even dramatic social, economic and cultural context that this return to school is taking place,” underlined Roger Begnic, president of the Maison pour tous de Kervénanec, Saturday September 16. The social center took advantage of the event to launch a message on behalf of the residents: “No to drug trafficking. Together, let’s not let them develop with impunity.” Still in line with current events, the president also announced that a collection of donations was taking place to help the Moroccan people, severely affected by the earthquake.
Maxime Gidefroy, new director
Some new features were presented for the season: setting up a relaxation café, a film club, sporting activities with Folclo, the creation of an intergenerational choir and even a garden project.
The year 2024 will also see the takeover of the new director of the Maison pour tous, Maxime Godefroy (currently deputy director). At the start of the year, he will replace Hervé Quentel, who will exercise his retirement rights.
