A total of 13 items are on the agenda on Wednesday, June 9th. Many are about money. There are the annual accounts of the political community and the primary school, a construction account and two gross credits for upcoming renovations. In addition, there are approvals of various ordinances or their partial revisions.
Little impact of the pandemic
The Political Community’s income statement closes with total expenses and income of just under 22 million francs each with an income surplus of 256,000 francs. An expenditure surplus of just under CHF 416,000 was budgeted. The annual bill is 672,000 francs better than budgeted. The main reasons are under-spending in all areas of activity except in the health sector, where the net expenditure was higher than budgeted, writes the municipal council in its report. On the expense side, the pandemic-related cancellations of various events and training courses as well as the lower need for depreciation due to lower investment volumes were of importance. On the revenue side, slightly higher tax revenues and building permit fees would have had a positive effect.
