PAMEKASAN, koranmadura.com – Several areas of Madura, East Java have entered the rainy season, such as in Pamekasan regency. This results in environmental changes that have the potential to cause a variety of diseases.
Diseases referred to include upper respiratory tract disorders (ARIs), cough, flu, fever, fever, and measles.
Pamekasan District Health Bureau Chief Syaifudin said the environmental changes would impact public health.
“Health is influenced by genetics (heredity), by the environment, and therefore by health facilities. In that environment, in these parts, there are germs, viruses, flies and mosquitoes. If the environment changes in this way, the population will increase. So that dengue virus is prone to appear. Dengue hemorrhagic fever has appeared this month since the rainy season has turned back and other diseases have emerged,” Syaifudin said on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
According to him, there have been many cases recently, the dominant one is ISPA which has spread to 13 sub-districts.
“Later the data (DHF cases and channel inspection) can be seen, yes, at the disease prevention and control officer (P2),” he explained.
For this reason, Syaifudin reminded the audience to always pay attention and maintain the condition of the body to keep fit or strong, get enough rest, eat nutritious food and manage stress.
“Respiratory tract or ARI, right, it causes viruses and germs. Flu and cough are caused by viruses and germs. Yes, first, avoid the sick, don’t go near the sick. So the most important thing is to maintain the conditions, so that we don’t get infected, ”he said. (SUDUR/DIK)
