“Communion” by Nejib Belkadhi selected at the New York City International Film Festival


The Tunisian film “Communion” by Nejib Belkadhi is selected at the New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF).

“Communion” will occasionally screen Friday, April 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Screening Room at 59 Street, 500 Park Avenue, the director adds; this Wednesday, April 6, 2022, via a post published on his Facebook account.

Recall that on March 10, “Communion”, which had its world premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival, won the Nile Grand Prize at the Luxor African Film Festival.

In October 2020, “Communion”, had also obtained three support prizes at the Malmö Arab Film Festival (aid for calibration -Mosaic TV – Belgium-, aid for mixing -Leyth Production – Tunisia and aid for distribution – MAD Solutions – Egypt-).

Synopsis : A couple, a cat, a virus. During the confinement, Sara works at home in the humanitarian sector to help people in distress during the Covid-19 crisis.
