“Until now, I have not observed a situation in which the president hands over a mandate with reluctance, even with disgust. Rumen Radev handed over the mandate to people who clearly do not like him. The president we have at the moment is harmful to Bulgaria”.
This is what Vesislava Tancheva, a communication expert and political analyst, activist from the civil association “BOEC”, told BNR.
And he added that the president’s behavior today was at the limit of the Constitution:
“I call on the parties in the parliament not to be passive observers of this behavior and we want to start a procedure to remove the president. Whether it will pass or not, but the important thing is to put the topic on the agenda”.
Tancheva emphasized that someone somewhere decided that power would pass slowly and without shocks from Boyko Borisov to Rumen Radev, and from the PP, without wanting to assist in this transaction of power from one person to another.
