Communal Crisis in Lytkarino, Russia: Only Boiler House Failure Amid Record Frosts

In Lytkarino, Russia, the only boiler house in the entire city failed at the height of record frosts.

While the Kremlin was dreaming of an energy crisis in Europe, its own frosty “apocalypse” happened in the Moscow region. In the town of Lytkarino (Moscow region), the only boiler room broke down in the middle of a record cold snap.

The influential Russian Telegram channel “VChK-OGPU” spoke about the communal disaster in Lytkarino, Dialog.UA reports.

In Lytkarino, Moscow region, the only boiler house has failed, and the city is cooling down. Complaints about falling temperatures in apartments are pouring in. The EDS says: everything is in order, this is temporary, but the batteries are colder than fresh milk. Residents are advised to turn on heaters, but it is unknown where to get them“, writes the resource.

To somehow warm up, city residents light fires at their entrances.

Judging by the public posts, anger is growing among Lytkarino residents due to the inaction of the authorities. People openly threaten to rebel if they are not given warmth immediately.

I’ll get some treatment now, and look forward to your visit! You really got it already! They have everything ready for the winter… Turn on the heating and hot water immediately!“- write residents of a town near Moscow.

Let us note that the communal crisis has hit the Russian Moscow region right at the height of record frosts; the air temperature at night drops even below -25 degrees Celsius. In a number of settlements in the Moscow region there is not only no heat, but also no electricity. The most difficult situation is in the city of Podolsk, where a region with 60 thousand people has been without heat supply for more than 2 days. A state of emergency has already been introduced there. The authorities promise to fix everything soon, but residents don’t believe it. Due to the long absence of heat, pipes and radiators cracked.

Experts claim that the cause of the crisis is the deterioration of heating networks, which have long required major repairs. However, the Kremlin prefers to spend funds not on restoring housing and communal services, but on killing Ukrainians. So the Russians will have to be patient.

Earlier it was reported that in the Moscow region the authorities set security forces against protesters against turning off the heat.

We also wrote that in Yakutia, the homes of 4,000 people are freezing due to a lack of fuel.
