Common Technical Problems of the iPhone 15+: Overheating, Glass Breakage, and Color Change

Despite the wide popularity achieved by the “iPhone 15” phone, and the great demand for its purchase, the “iPhone 15” has begun to suffer from several serious technical problems. Add an advertisement

Increased temperatures

Recent reports indicate that iPhone 15 phones suffer from high device temperature, even with normal use.
These reports attribute this to the use of the 3-nanometer A17 Pro chip manufacturing technology from TSMC, which is facing difficulties in producing it.
Reports confirm that the part containing the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro phones suffers from an increase in temperature, reaching 48 degrees.
This is due to increased processor power to improve performance but it also leads to increased power consumption and increased phone temperature.

Failure of fracture test

An American reviewer revealed that the glass back of the iPhone 15 Pro Max failed the breakage test.
The device’s glass back failed to withstand the pressure and bending test, breaking as soon as it was pressed, even though the screen, which is supposed to be the most breakable, was not exposed, as confirmed by American reviewer Zach Nelson.
He added that it is the first Apple device to fail the pressure test since the iPhone 6, nearly 10 years ago, according to the Emirati newspaper, Al Bayan.

Change the color of the metal frame

Some owners of the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max reported that the color of the metal frame on their phones changed after a short period of use.
Pictures circulated by the company’s customers on social media showed the presence of fingerprints on the titanium metal frame of these phones, especially in the area where the side buttons are located, according to what was reported by the Arab Technical News Portal.
In response to its customers, Apple published on its official website that fingerprints can temporarily change the color of the titanium side frame on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, due to the oil present on the skin.
“This is not a permanent condition. Fingerprints can be wiped off just like on any other iPhone to restore a clean finish, using a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth,” Apple stated.

Apple’s official response

The change in color of the new iPhone 15 Pro phones raised customer concerns, so Apple preferred to respond officially in anticipation of the spread of rumors that might negatively affect the sales of its new phones.
The American company launched the iPhone 15 Pro phones this year with a body made of titanium metal for the first time, which is a durable metal commonly used in the aviation and space industry, with a relatively lighter weight than other metals, and the company claimed that it adopted a complex manufacturing technology in design and coating.
Similar problems were not observed in the basic iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus phones, as they are made of aluminum, and do not contain titanium, which attracts fingerprints.
