Common quiet times are changing – What applies from April 1st – 2024-03-31 18:14:19

On April 1st, the common quiet hours change due to the summer season, which ends on September 30th.

You are reminded that from the early hours of Sunday (31/3) we enter the summer time zone and – like every year – we turn the hands of the clocks one hour forward. So from 3 a.m. we will skip to 4 am

After the time change and from April 1st, the new common quiet times also come into force, the violation of which can result in serious penalties.

According to police order 3 of 1996, the noon and night quiet hours are as follows:

During the summer season from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00. During the winter season from 15:30 to 17:30 and from 22:00 to 07:30. Summer period, the period from April 1 to September 30 is considered.

Daylight saving time starts this Sunday. Winter period, the period from October 1 to March 31 is considered. Violators of the provisions of the Police Order in question are prosecuted to the extent of a misdemeanor.

To this end, citizens may contact the Police for confirmation of the violation, as well as submit a Petition against the violators
