Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat, said that the award that Sido Muncul has won four times in a row is certainly a matter of pride for the company.
According to Irwan, this award is the result and proof of all the achievements and actions taken by Sido Muncul in terms of protecting the environment.
“Managing the herbal medicine industry is not only about business achievements, but also environmental control achievements,” said Irwan in Jakarta, Tuesday (30/11/2021).
Therefore, continued Irwan, Sido Muncul continues to develop technology to treat waste and prepare new plans to treat the waste itself.
“We, of course, are not only concerned with business achievements, but we also pay attention to managing the environment,” said Irwan.
Meanwhile, according to the General Manager of the Environment of Sido Muncul Hadi Hartojo, the award won by Sido Muncul is certainly not separated from the support of management.
“Strong management push, of course, makes us motivated to continue to develop and innovate,” said Hadi.
He also explained that in the assessment of the green industry award, there were three aspects to be considered, namely the technical, production and management categories.
“In this assessment we have a very strong management, production and technical system and get a score above 92 out of the average. This makes us able to get this award four times in a row,” said Hadi.
Hadi also said that this achievement must be maintained and even better. “Of course, environmental management must continue to be carried out in the field, and that is the focus of Sido Muncul,” concluded Hadi.
