Committed murder – lived with the body for ten days

On Thursday, a 75-year-old woman in the Eastern High Court in Denmark was convicted of killing her husband (66) in 2017.

The 75-year-old stabbed her husband with a needle or needle 14 times. This led to the lung collapsing and he died.

The man then lay dead in the apartment on Amager in Copenhagen for ten days before he was found, writes Danish BT

More strange details

The Russian-speaking wife came to Denmark in 1999 and married the man seven years later. He also then chose to adopt her daughter.

Prior to the murder, the couple’s daughter had been ill for some time, and later she died due to the disease.

When she was to be buried, several people were surprised that the man did not show up at the daughter’s funeral. Two police officers therefore went to the couple’s apartment to investigate the case further.

It was the 75-year-old woman who opened the door when the police knocked on the door, and they noticed several strange details. Among other things, the apartment was very cold, and the balcony door had been open for a long time.

Shortly afterwards, the police made a gruesome discovery.

The 66-year-old man lay dead in a staircase that led to the lower floor, where the apartment’s only toilet was.

The police saw that the man had been lying there for a while, since the body had started to rot. The man was also not seen alive in ten days.

Forged will

The 75-year-old explained in court that she had not seen the man lying on their stairs, and claimed that she had slept in an apartment in Valby in the center of Copenhagen.

The court did not believe the woman’s story.

– We ignore the explanation that you have stayed in Valby. We can also state that the Valby apartment did not look habitable, the judge said in court on Thursday.

The woman is also said to have tried to poison her husband by giving him medicine from Eastern Europe.

The convicted woman also made a false will in the daughter’s name after she died, in order to have the entire inheritance paid out herself.

The 75-year-old was first sentenced to 12 years in prison in Copenhagen City Court last year. In the appeal case in the Eastern High Court, she was now found guilty of murder.
