Death vitamins A young woman and a middle-aged man die quite unexpectedly in different parts of the city. The same packages with supposedly harmless vitamin E capsules are found with both. Dr. Graf concludes that both victims have been poisoned with a lethal dose of nicotine. Suspicions of a blackmail attempt are confirmed when two crooks send a ransom demand to a pharmaceutical company. With the help of Rex, the two criminals are quickly caught, but it turns out that they cannot be the real culprits. The investigation should continue in a different direction.
