Commission for the Protection of Health Risks to Monitor COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution in Pharmaceutical Chains

Given the imminent distribution of COVID-19 vaccines in four different pharmaceutical chains, the Commission for the Protection of Health Risks will monitor the conditions under which the biological will be sold.
The head of the Coprisjal Denis Santiago Hernández reported that it will be reviewed that each of the establishments has a current license, that the doctors who work there have their accreditation and that the pharmacies have the necessary refrigerators to preserve the vaccine.
“We asked that your staff be trained in advance. That it wouldn’t be that when the vaccines arrived they would be improvising. We asked them to have their protocols. And something that is important for you to know is that in the pharmacies that are going to purchase this type of biological, we are asking them to update their license.”
The head of the Commission for the Protection of Health Risks indicated that in addition to the four pharmaceutical chains that will distribute the vaccines, there are two private hospitals interested in participating. (By José Luis Escamilla)
