There are, of course, some speculations about the whereabouts of the 99 million. Even if Pucher and his family still lived so modestly, was there nothing left for himself? It is the presumption of innocence.
In any case, some of the money could have gone black into the prone football. The scandal bank officially sponsored SV Mattersburg with 12 million euros annually, but it should not have stayed that way. Of the 156 million, 57 million could already be attributed to football and the maintenance of banking operations.

The amount of damage has now increased. If the bank’s over-indebtedness was 705 million in October, it stood at 869 million in mid-December. This should roughly reach the top.
Mattersburger Bank can be very expensive for the Republic of Austria. The announced public liability suits against the republic have now started.
